You don't must always use or download to alternative free desktop note tools such as ► ... DesktopNoteOK. In Windows 10 Anniversary Update / Creators (Redstone) introduces a new version, based on the Universal Windows Platform. It can be started as a standalone application or as part of the Windows workspace. Tip: The new version accepts directly input via pen!
1.) Sticky Notes New Solution for Windows 10/11!
1. Simply press the Windows logo + Q key and enter Sticky in the search field.
2. Now start sticky notes the short-note program! (... see Image-1 Arrow 1 to 3)

The full path of the Windows-10 Sticky Notes is %systemroot%\system32\stikynot.exe�or�c:\Windows\system32\stikynot.exe
Please start the Sticky Notes via Windows-10 Run-Dialog and the command:�stikynot.exe, you can use the Windows 10 Sticky Notes with a tablet pen or a standard keyboard. To write a note using a tablet pen, simply start writing on the note where you want the ink to appear. To type a note, click where you want the text to appear, and then start typing.
