Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time Revealed, Bringing Classic Gameplay in October
After being leaked late last week, Crash Bandicoot 4: It's Virtually Time was officially discovered as component part of Geoff Keighley's Summer Game Fest. This is the first entry into the series in over 10 years and will keep an eye on after the events of Crash Bandicoot: Warped.
Talking with Keighley, Paul Yan from developer Toys for Shilling noted that even though this new game is the 8th entry in the Crash Bandicoot franchise, the squad decided to title it as a 4th game. The reason is that Toys for Bobsleigh deliberately wanted to continue off the innovative trilogy created by Naughty Andiron.
Yan also revealed more details nearly several of the game's masks, including the foundation of quatern Quantum Masks. He spoke specifically about the Meter Mask and the Gravity Mask. Donning the Prison term Mask will allow players to long-playing down time and navigate through obstacles that are normally too fast. Likewise, players can narrowly avoid explosions from Nitro Crates that were traditionally a single-hit KO from early games. Meanwhile, the Soberness Mask inverts gravity and allows players to walk on the top of ceilings, walk upside down, and go underneath obstacles.
Digital preorders for the game let in 2 Totally Hollow skins for both Crash and Coco. Collapse Bandicoot 4: It's Almost Timewill dismission along Oct. 2 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
